You can meet at the Visitors Centre in Port Fairy at 9.30am to follow a convoy of cars to the reserve, if required.
Pallisters Reserve is a 250 hectare Trust for Nature wetland conservation property just outside Port Fairy. It’s home to more than 125 species of birds and abundant native flora including eucalyptus, wattles, banksias native grasses and over 25 orchid species. This year, the Friends of Pallisters welcome you to meet guest speaker Desley Whisson from Deakin University, who will talk about her koala research from 11am.
