Live: Sarah Mary Chadwick and Geoffrey O'Connor

A$25.00

Sunday 9 June, 2025
7pm-10pm

$25

St John’s Hall
21 Regent St, Port Fairy or enter from Barclay St

For four years in a row, New Zealand born Melbourne-based artist Sarah Mary Chadwick has braved the cold, rain and wind to deliver heartbreaking, intimate sets in the depths of our south west Victorian winter. This year, she brings along a brand new album, ‘Take Me Out To a Bar/What Am I, Gatsby?’ and special guest, Melbourne suave-wave songsmith Geoffrey O’Connor.

‘...Sarah Mary Chadwick has a voice unlike anyone else. Her lyricism is brutal and raw, and her records are a wholly consuming affair. Chadwick is just as spellbinding live – it’s hard to look away.’ - Sydney Morning Herald.

‘O’Connor offers up ruminations for the early hours, cabaret-style lounge music that glides artfully close to cheese without overindulging.’ - Nathan Jolley, The Guardian

Tickets are limited. There’ll be a bar for your refreshments. And all in the charming embrace of the perfectly welcoming ol’ church hall.

We are an annual winter festival run by volunteers to toast the town of Port Fairy and the locals that live here year round. Bless them.
