Chelsea Fox and her Glasshouse Full of Bees

Donation at the gate

Sun 11:30am

5 Willoughby St, Port Fairy

Long before the great Australian Bee Challenge, Chelsea Fox was across the bees and the honey. In this one-hour community event, we meet at Chelsea’s house and garden to discuss establishing and maintaining happy hives, as well as ‘making’ and tasting honey. We’ll take a close look at the garden to see what works for bees. Finally, Chelsea will open a hive and show us the inner workings. She will do this rather dramatically from inside a glasshouse while we gather around the outside and watch in fear and fascination. Honey available for purchase too, so Bee-Y.O bag!
