Dachshund Dash

The Dachshund Dash has become an integral part of the Port Fairy Winter Weekends Festival and is traditionally run over the Queens Birthday weekend in June. The "Dash" is steadily growing in popularity and in 2011 had some 35 entrants. The town comes alive with the presence of this lovable dogs and their devoted owners. The race itself is a fun spectacle. Below are some images from previous Dachshund Dash events.
