2011 DACHSHUND DASH
We are pleased that the 2011 Dachshund Dash will be sponsored by the Port Fairy & District Community Bank and we are expecting a good turn up of competitors whose owners look forward to the annual event in Port Fairy.
The Dachshund Play Group of Melbourne, a group of 140 dachshund devotees, are enthusiastically looking forward to the 2011 race (see http://www.meetup.com/dachsiemeetup/).
This year, the Dachshund Dash will be preceded on the Village Green by a ”Dog’s Breakfast” where all dogs, and their owners, can sample doggie goodies before the march to Southcombe Park for the big race. The Dachshund Dash is scheduled to be run at 11am on Sunday 12th June.
