The artists - showing the images they have chosen to paint and their final production
The Port Fairy artists listed below have each chosen a photo from which they will paint, in whole or part, their depiction of the image on a 40 x 30 cm canvas.
When finished, the submitted artwork will be assembled into a collage at the Whale Bone Gallery in Port Fairy as part of the exhibition - A smorgasbord of Port Fairy Art. The exhibition forms part of the Port Fairy Winter Weekends Festival for August 2011 which has the theme of "Taste the flavours of Port Fairy".
Members of the piublic are invited to join in the assembly of the collage by entering the associated competition to form the most pleasing layout of the painted images.
