Port Fairy Winter Weekends Festival
Port Fairy is renowned as an historic, intimate, harbour village with a quiet charm... but the town has much more to offer! The Port Fairy Winter Weekends Festival is a series of themed weekends spread over June and July each year.
2013 Winter Weekends Festival - a big success!
Port Fairy has just completed another successful Winter Weekend season culminating in the July festival from 5-7 July 2013.
Our headline acts for 2013 were the Welsh Male choir who visited in June and performed to a full house at the St. John's Anglican Church. Ami Williamson (pictured below) entertained a packed house in the Reardon Theatre in July. Full datails on the 2013 Winter season can be found at June and July.
The 2013 Dachshund Dash in June was a real highlight.
The Winter Weekends Committee will now turn its attention to the 2014 program so keep an eye on this website or sign-up to go on our mailing list in the side panel.
In the meantime, you don't need a festival for a reason to visit Port Fairy - come anytime and enjoy our charm and remember - there is always something happening in Port Fairy!

Port Fairy judged to be the world's most liveable community in 2012
Did you know that Port Fairy was judged to be the most liveable community in the world for towns with populations under 20,000? The town won an award for this honour at the 2012 LivCom Awards.
To celebrate this fantastic achievement the town held a celebration day on 25th May 2013 and from this a very informative video was made - View video on why Port Fairy is so loved by the locals.
In addition, a time lapse video was also made on that day.
